There are numerous prophecies regarding Israel that have been fulfilled since 1948, in particular pertaining to the re-establishment of the State of Israel.

Isaiah 66:7-8, describes a nation being born in a day. On May 14, 1948, the United Nations mandate ended and David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. U.S. President Harry S. Truman recognized the new nation on the same day.

Another key prophecy is Ezekiel 37:10-14, which portrays Israel as dry bones coming to life, symbolizing the revival of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel after centuries of exile and dispersion. Bible prophecy scholars believe this prophecy was fulfilled by the return of Jews to their ancestral homeland and the re-establishment of Israel as a sovereign nation in 1948.

Ezekiel 37:21-22 prophesied the reunification of the tribes of Israel into one nation, which was fulfilled in 1948 when Jews from diverse global backgrounds united to form a single nation. Jeremiah 16:14-15 also referred to a second Israel being more impressive than the first which was established after the Exodus from Egypt. This prophecy seems to be supported by the return of Jews from countries such as the United States, China, Russia and South Africa.

      • “Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder.”

        (Zephaniah 3:9)

Hebrew was a dead language for centuries that was used only in prayer and religious texts. But in the late 19th century, Eliezer Ben-Yehuda started reviving it. Today it is the official language of Israel. Some bible see the "pure language" as a reference to Hebrew, since it was the original language of the Israelites in biblical times.

      • “In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.”

        (Isaiah 27:6)

When Mark Twain visited the Holy Land in the late 19th Century, he described it as a barren wasteland. But, just as the bible foretold, Israel has become one of the leading nations in the world in agricultural innovation. Today the nation exports fruits, vegetables, and flowers to every corner of the globe.

      • “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations.”
        (Zechariah 12:3)

A cursory glance at the daily will prove that control of Jerusalem is at the center of global politics. International leaders have been advocating for a two-state solution in which Israel and Palestine live side by side in peace and security, with Jerusalem serving as the shared capital of both states. In spite of the international pressure to divide the city, it remains intact.

      • “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them.”

        (Amos 9:15)

In spite of a multitude of wars, terrorist attacks, boycotts, and relentless hatred from its neighbors, Israel continues to stand strong against all odds. God’s promise that Israel would never be uprooted again is being fulfilled before our very eyes.

      • “Then he said to me, “This river flows east through the desert into the valley of the Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure.”

        (Ezekiel 47:8-12)

The Dead Sea is coming alive again. Fresh water is now flowing into The Rift Valley expanse has been unable to support life since the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah thousands of years ago. It has served only as an attraction for tourists who want to sample its healing properties. But resh water is now flowing in the the expanse, and freshwater fish have now been seen swimming in the surrounding sinkholes that have opened up in recent years as the sea, made up of 33% salt, has been receding. Recent Prophetic Events

      • "While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."

        (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

President Trump's 20-point peace plan for Gaza, announced in September 2025, outlines a framework to end the war between Israel and Hamas, including an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages and prisoners, and the disarmament of Hamas. The plan leaves the door open for an eventual Palestinian state, though the President has not explicitly endorsed a two-state solution. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on the other hand, has repeatedly ruled out the establishment of a Palestinian state, but his wishes seem to be falling on deaf ears in the international community. Regional and European leaders, including the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and others, have also expressed support for a two-state arrangement in which Gaza is integrated with the West Bank as part of a future Palestinian state. While many of the Israeli hostages have finally been returned to their families per the agreement, many have not. Meanwhile, Hamas remains armed and defiant, nearly 2,000 of violent Palestinian prisoners have been released from prison. And, while the Palestinian people suffer deprivation and brutality against themselves by Hamas, hatred of Israel and its inhabitants has been ingrained in many - if not most - Palestinians from childhood. While not explicitly a prophetic fulfillment, many see this as a foreshadowing of things to come.

      • "Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand"

        (Joel 2:1)

On September 24, 2025, which coincided with Rosh Hashanah, 100 priests participated in a shofar ceremony, sounding 100 shofars simultaneously, along with 100 sacred trumpets, creating a unified blast that was broadcast around the world. This event was described as historically unprecedented and part of a greater movement to restore ancient Temple traditions, including public prayer, prostration, and priestly blessings, which had previously been restricted. The ceremony was seen by many as a fulfillment of Isaiah 27:13, which speaks of a great shofar being sounded to gather the exiled. The shofar has deep religious significance,. Historically it has been used in the proclamation of new moons, the Jubilee year, the beginning of High Holidays and times of war. Blowing of the shofar has also be used to signify call to repentance and divine judgment.

      • “This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, ‘Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed. You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence.”
        (Numbers 19)

On July 1, 2025, a red heifer was sacrificed in in a ceremony described as a rehearsal of the biblical purification ritual required for rebuilding the Third Temple in Jerusalem. The event took place on a hill in Samaria, not on the Mount of Olives as required by traditional Jewish oral law. The heifer was one of five that were imported from Texas in September 2022, and although it was deemed to meet biblical standards, it was later disqualified by Jewish authorities due to the presence of non-red hairs. Byron Stinson, founder of Boneh Israel, claimed the event was still significant because it was the first such sacrifice in over 2,000 years.

      • "He (the Antichrist) will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up
in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God."

        (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

Rabbi Nachman Kahane, 75, a leading rabbi in Jerusalem, believes a Temple will be built on the Temple Mount in his lifetime; and he says everything is ready to build that Temple today.

There have only been two Jewish Temples in history: the first, built by King Solomon, stood on the Temple Mount for 390 years before the Babylonians destroyed it in 586 B.C. The second, built after the Babylonian Captivity on the same site (Ezra 2:68, 6:7) stood for 585 years before it was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. 70. The book of 2 Thessalonians calls for a Jewish Temple to be standing when the Antichrist rules the world.

Rabbi Kahane has spearheaded the effort to rebuild; and his students launched the Temple Institute in 1987 in Jerusalem. The Institute already has trained men for Temple service and assembled all the required temple instruments.

      • Road Signs Appear for The Third Temple

Unofficial road signs directing passersby to "The House of the Lord" or "The Mountain of the House of the Lord" are popping up around Israel, foreshadowing a rebuilding of the Third Temple. These signs, believed to possibly be the effort of a private individual or group," demonstrate that the idea of a Third Temple is taking shape as a real possibility.

        Israel's Prophetic Future

The Great Tribulation AKA The Time of Jacob's Trouble

The Great Tribulation is a future, three-and-a-half-year period that constitutes the final half of the seven-year tribulation period prophesied in Daniel's Seventieth Week. It is specifically tied to the nation of Israel, serving as a time of intense divine discipline and testing, ultimately leading to the nation's repentance and restoration.

      • Israel's Redemption and The Coming Millennial Kingdom

The restoration of Israel is a key feature of the millennial kingdom, with the nation being reconstituted in its ancient land, divided among the tribes as described in Ezekiel 47 and 48. The kingdom will be characterized by peace, prosperity, and spiritual renewal, with Jerusalem as the center of worship and the world’s political and spiritual capital. The land will undergo dramatic environmental transformation, with deserts like the Arabah and Negev becoming fertile and lush, symbolizing divine blessing and restoration.

During this period, Israel will hold a prominent role as the central nation under Christ’s rule, with the Messiah reigning from Jerusalem. The millennial kingdom will also bring universal worship of God, with Gentiles joining Israel in honoring Christ as King of Kings.
